Youth Program Design
I turn broad strategic intent into concrete programs. I analyze needs, set objectives, build the theory of change, and design tailored learning journeys for youth.
Since 2012, I design, lead, and evaluate programs that empower young people to know themselves better, exercise critical judgment, communicate, cooperate, and translate ideas into tangible actions. More than 17 programs led and 5,400+ youth aged 15–25 reached directly to date.
I partner with corporations, non-profits, and educational institutions to design high-impact youth interventions.
I turn broad strategic intent into concrete programs. I analyze needs, set objectives, build the theory of change, and design tailored learning journeys for youth.
I design and facilitate interactive workshops, training modules, and cohort learning around core soft skills: confidence, judgment, communication, and cooperation.
ATHAR enables corporations to sponsor youth cohorts (ages 18-25). The program connects corporate sponsors, ATHAR, and local organizations around clear, measurable goals.
I oversee full project execution: planning, partner coordination, participant mobilization, trainer management, activity monitoring, and deliverable reporting.
I establish clear metrics to track actual behavioral and skill transformations. Findings are compiled into comprehensive impact reports for partners.
I deliver keynotes, interactive workshops, and custom advisory sessions for youth groups, universities, NGOs, and corporate teams.
ATHAR provides a structured framework for companies aiming to realize their CSR and ESG commitments in Algeria through direct youth empowerment, in line with national priorities set out in the draft National Youth Plan 2026-2029, presented to the Council of Ministers in March 2026.
The program’s core objectives remain constant: stronger self-awareness, communication, cooperation, critical judgment, and the ability to take action. The language, vocabulary, examples, activities, pace, and materials are adapted to the actual profile of each cohort.
ATHAR can be delivered entirely in Algerian Darija when this supports understanding. French and English are required only when justified by the cohort’s objectives and announced before participant selection.

“Entrepreneurship is not the only pathway. Before starting a business or seeking a job, young people must first develop strong core capabilities and real agency.”
I am Hamdi Sellami, a youth capacity building specialist based in Algeria.
Since 2012, I design, lead, and evaluate programs helping young people build self-awareness, exercise judgment, communicate, cooperate, and translate ideas into action. To date, I have led more than 17 programs reaching over 5,400 young people aged 15–25 directly, with more than $1M in corporate funding and grants managed across these programs. My background spans international organizations and independent consulting across exchange, mentorship, participation, and personal growth projects nationwide.
Today, I support businesses, non-profits, and educational institutions in creating meaningful, measurable youth initiatives. This vision is embodied in ATHAR, my flagship program enabling companies to invest sustainably in youth human capital as part of their CSR and ESG commitments.
My approach is simple: understand community needs, select the most effective interventions, engage the right partners, and rigorously measure real outcomes.
Authentic feedback on the impact and value of Hamdi Sellami's consulting and mentorship.
“Hamdi's expertise was instrumental in our project's evolution. His coaching and detailed feedback significantly improved the quality of our documents for the Ministry of Startups. His direct, honest approach was exactly what we needed to refine our work. Hamdi's dedication and professionalism were evident throughout. Highly recommended: 5/5, every day!”
“Hamdi has always been one of my very first mentors and sources of inspiration during my university journey. I felt honored when he accepted to lead one segment of my community initiative, ALP (Algerian Leadership Program), where he trained young students about ‘Leading Yourself’ as a first pillar of leadership. As expected, students talked about how transformative the workshop was.”
“My very first session was amazing, and it certainly won't be my last. The work Hamdi does is remarkable. He is always attentive and shows great kindness. I will never forget the realizations and impact this session had on me. Hamdi is a must-visit address for any ambitious person.”
“During our discussion, I thought deeply: what do I really want to do and where do I want to go? I realized I had neglected certain fundamentals of my life, moving forward without direction. I also realized that my vision of success could finally unblock me.”

Outcomes are measured using indicators defined in advance and shared across all cohorts: self-awareness, communication, cooperation, critical judgment, and the ability to take action. Baseline and endline assessments, complemented by regular monitoring, make progress comparable while accounting for each cohort’s context.
